Krillen is Gohan and Goku's best friend. He is the strongest human on
earth. He and Goku used to train together and were rivals. They later
became friends and help each other out in battles although he is not
nearly as powerful as Goku. He later marries Android 18 (after using the
dragonballs to make her human) and they have a daughter named Marron.

Yamcha is a good friend of Goku since they have known each other back in
dragonball. He met Goku and Bulma when he was a desert Bandit robbing
people when they come. He was going to rob Goku but Bulma was with him
and he has a fear of girls. When he finds out that that they are looking
for the dragonballs he comes with them. He loses his fear of girls and
went out with Bulma for a while. Hes not nearly as good of a fighter as
Goku of many or the other z fighters but still has good fighting
ability. And he always has a cat with him named Puar.

Tien
is Chaozus best friend and would risk his life for him. He has 3 eyes
only 2 work though. He was originally trained to be an assassin but
joins the z fighters. Tien created the techniques Taiyoken and Kikoho.
Later in the series he was not that good of a fighter as the saiyans,
but he plays a big role against Cell.

Chaozu is Tiens best friend. He uses a lot of Phsycic attacks and is a
descent fighter. But his power does not increase much and he does have a
fear of stronger fighters. He not much help when it comes to fighting
later in the series.

Ubuu
is the reincarnation of Majin Buu. But unlike Majin Buu, he is a good
person and not evil. He is also a great fighter. He fought Goku at the
28th budokai and was a bit of a challenge. Goku eventually trains him
around the end of DBZ up to the beggining of Dragonball GT.
